From a very young age, it was clear that Ashley would be a make-up artist. Her sisters knew it first, as Ashley raided their mother’s make-up bag to treat them to yet another makeover. She graduated with distinction in theatrical, media, photographic and fashion make-up. Her first move was to Dublin’s leading department store, the internationally renowned Brown Thomas. She worked for Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Sicily & Shiseido. She grew her craft with positions in Brown Sugar, Make Up Forever and Dylan Bradshaw in Dublin, Inglot in Sydney, and went on to work with Charlotte Tilbury during their arrival into the Irish market.
Her client list has included Sophie Turner & Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Florence and the Machine, Mel C - (The Spice Girls), Kimberly Wyatt (The Pussycat Dolls) Sarah Harding (Girls Aloud) along with well know Irish faces such as, Vogue Williams, Daniella Moyles, Aoibhin McGinnity, Thalia Heffernan, Pandora McCormack, Celia Holman Lee, Nora Casey, Rachel Allan, Clodagh McKenna and Allison Canavan. Her work has also featured on the covers of Irish Tatler, Irish Country Magazine, Sunday Independents Life & Fit magazines as well as in the pages of ELLE (usa), Hello (uk), OK (australia), Stellar, Image, U & Kiss. Her television work includes The Big Deal (TV3), PLastic Surgery Undressed (BBC), Top 40 Music Videos, EXPOSE, Off the Rails and the TV Now Awards. Other work includes fashion shows for Tommy Hilfiger, The L’oriel Colour Trophy, NCAD & DCU.
Now a freelance make-up artist, she is available for commissions, shoots, shows, weddings, callouts, editorials and any occasion where professional make-up makes the difference between a good effort and a work of art.
